AEM 6.5: How to add Commerce Products to a Multifield component

We want to be able to use a multifield component to aid in the management of our products, but have been unable to figure out how to get multifield drag-and-drop functionality to accept anything other than image files.  What are the steps that will allow us to drag Commerce Product items into a multifield component?

@organicon  - It depends on which CIF Component you are using. If it's a Product Listing then you can author multiple components or let's say if it is a ProductTile component then it won't have the multifield functionality.
Also can you please add more information on the issue that you are facing..
