AEM 6.0 installed in Tomcat and not working

We are trying a POC with AEM6.0 (i18n). I got the WAR file from my team and for the First time i was trying to set it up in my machine using Tomcat. I was following the instructions in the following link, I renamed the war to ROOT.war and followed all the steps.

https://docs.adobe.com/docs/en/aem/6-0/deploy/application-server-install.html

After deploying, When i tried to open up the following link,

http://localhost:8080/ROOT/libs/cq/i18n/translator.html

It is saying no resource found. I was following the below link to construct the URL above.

http://docs.adobe.com/docs/en/aem/6-0/develop/components/i18n/translator.html

/AEM provides a console for managing the various translations of texts used in component UI// How to access this console?

For this Tomcat installation - did you check the Troubleshooting section:

https://docs.adobe.com/docs/en/aem/6-0/deploy/troubleshooting.html

Probably, it might not have started properly. Try restarting your AEM instance and check if it fixes the issue else try to capture if you see any exception while starting
