Ability to add multiple file upload/download (using html5smartfile+multifield ?)

Hi,

We have a scenario, where we have to provide author the ability to upload multiple files using dialog. Initially we were using xtype:html5smartfile , when only single file upload was required. But now as the requirement is there to add multiple files , can you please suggest any good approach for this.

I tried the option of adding html5smartfile in multifield, where i gave fieldConfig xtype as html5smartfile under multifield node, but to my disappointment it does not render itself in multifield and appears as blank.File can be uploaded via drag drop or local system browse dialog, which is very cleanly handled by html5smartfile, but it is not working with multifield. If I provide any other xtype in fieldConfig (like 'richtext' etc) they appear fine and work.

Please let me know if it is designed in such way that we can not use html5smartfile in multifield.I am attaching the screenshot.

Also if so, Please let me know any other good approach that can be followed for this scenerio.

Do you have to upload files via an html5smartfile? What about a tool that is able to do so. See this article:
