Launch script on EDS pages with Universal Editor

I have a section of my site on EDS while the majority of it is on AEMAACS. My question was on how to include launch script to my EDS pages, since they are environment specific?

I guess you can use the steps in this page to add launch scripts directly to your environments:

The link you shared seems to be working for AEMAACS sites but for EDS sites using universal editor, the launch script does not get added to the pages. I believe it is because the EDS pages are using a different page component than the core/v3 page component.
