Wokspace Option : Count repeated instances

Hello Adobe Community !

I was wondering what could be the use of checking the "Count repeated instances" on a Workspace Setting ?

A repeated instance only happens after refreshing a page ?

Or is it when an eVarX gets twice the same value but on a diferent page ?
For instance :

eVarX values per page of a given visit :
A -> B -> A -> C
then eVarX instances = 3 ?

    The count repeat instance is not an active setting in Workspace currently. It only works in Ad Hoc.

    The repeat instance works if the value repeats sequentailly.

    So if the evarX gets the values A, B, B, C; then B will only be counted once.

    If it is A,B,C,B, then B will be counted twice.
