Visitor Engagement Period

Adobe gives guidelines for setting Visitor Engagement Period and advises "minimizing" this period.
They give suggestions stating if you sell things like socks, use 3 days or more expensive items like cars, use longer! My company is more of the sock world but we have the default 30 days. Any recommendations of what your orgs use for the period?

I've worked with some organizations that use 30 days and others that use a week.  With attribution IQ, there's more flexibility to look at different ranges and determine what might be best for your use cases.
