In the unique visitor data, the data for July 1 plus July 2 is 12673, which is inconsistent with the 12184 above. What is the reason?

The "Total" UVs is de-duplicated from the individual dimension rows.

Visitor 1:

  • A
  • B
  • A

Visitor 2:

  • C
  • A
  • C

Visitor 3:

  • A
  • B
  • D

    Page Views Visits Unique Visitors
Pages   9 3 3
  A 4 3 3
  B 2 2 2
  C 2 1 1
  D 1 1 1

There are only 3 real Unique Visitors in our example, if we were to sum up all the rows (3 + 2 + 1 + 1) it would show 7 UVs (which would be horribly inflated). Both Visits and Unique Visitors are "stacking" metrics, Adobe will properly deduplicate these in the Freeform Tables.
