If a unique visitor A came to the home page than to a product page. We will have +1 for the website unique visitors. However in the page breakdown, we will see +1 in home page unique visitor, but what about product page breakdown will we also see +1 or it will give 0?

    Hi ​@AngelikaTe,

    The data and usage will depend on how you are using it.

     

    For instance, using your example of a visitor that saw the home page then a product page. In a simple freeform table by date, you will see:

      Unique Visitors
    Day 1
      Feb 13, 2026 1

     

    You will see a total of 1 UV in your table, and in the breakdown by day, you will 1 UV.

     

    Now, let’s instead do a table by Page Type:

      Unique Visitors
    Page Type 1
      home 1
      product 1

     

     

    You will see 1 UV for “home” and 1 UV for “product”, but the total is still 1 (because the total is de-duplicated). 1 UV saw “home”, 1 UV saw a product… but overall, there was still only 1 UV to the site.

     

     

    As a “User”, no matter how many Visits I make to the site, and how many pages I see, I am still only 1 user.. but if you look at very specific pages or pages types (that I saw), I still have to be listed as a user at that level.
