Unable to save project

Hi, I cannot save any changes on my existing project since new year. How can I resolve this problem?

@KaoriTs that definitely doesn’t sound right… to be having that many consistent issues is definitely out of the ordinary!

Sadly, the user facing “error messages” don’t really give anyone details about what is happening… client care should have better visibility into the issue, or may have you get a “HAR file” recording the session so that they can did deeper into the server responses… 

 

I wish I had more advice… but it definitely sounds that client care is needed, because I haven’t seen anyone else with this issue. 😥

I find that sometimes if I leave a workspace open for too long without refreshing this happens. You can try doing a save as instead of a regular save, sometimes that works. Other than that, unfortunately you will likely need to refresh your workspace to be able to save, but that will mean likely losing some unsaved work. 

It’s a good idea to save frequently when working building a workspace, just in case stuff like this happens.

Hi, even after refreshing, I cannot still save and I need to start from the first.

Sometimes this can happen when Adobe pushes an update to the code (sometimes maintenance or issue resolutions are happening, you can check https://status.adobe.com/)

 

I don’t see any recent items, but it’s still possible.

 

As ​@MandyGeorge said, when it happens, unfortunately there’s not much that you can do.

 

If you have to close without saving, depending on how long you’ve been working on the report, you might be able to find a partial recovered file in your “Recovered Projects (Last 7 Days)” folder, so you may not have to start from scratch…

Oh, ​@KaoriTs I just realized you said “This Year”, as in, you haven’t been able to save anything for 3 weeks??

 

  • Do you have problems with new reports?
  • It is just this one report, or with all existing reports?

 

There’s a chance this report is somehow corrupted? Can you “Save As” and make a copy, and can you save changes to it?

 

You might have to contact client care to investigate deeper what might be happening? Is it possible that your account lost save privileges (was anyone doing permission updates over the holidays and messed something up)?

I noticed this issue from this year and I tried restart as well. Sometimes I could save but even if I could save, error screen showed up next save (even a few minutes later) and after reloading, my data wasn’t there so I need to start again. I checked status which you posted the link and they are all available.I don’t check new report and copy yet but all existing report have same issue.
