Tracking Mobile Push Notifications and Web-based Campaigns

Can someone provide info on the following App related questions -

•       Can we utilize the campaign variable (v0) in an App implementation the same way we use the variable (and getQueryParam plugin) in a typical set up?  Are there supporting docs to help us understand this implementation?

•       What is the best practice for tracking users who view the app via push notifications?  Can we use the campaign variable and query string parameters in an App implementation?

•       What is the best practice for attributing app downloads and app conversions to web-based campaigns and channels?
