Segmenting by mobile device

I just came to find out that I cannot segment based upon mobile device using data warehousing and site catalyst, I would have to purchase Discover to do this function.  Our team is in the process of trying to figure out our best avenue of creating or repurposing content for the iPad and I can't see what current iPad users are viewing on our site.  This functionality would be extremely helpful.
