RegEx need to be supported in segmentation

When I user segmentation and analytics report, I can't find an operator to support regular expression. The "match" operator only supports wildcard(*), that can't satisify too much  business.

The issue puzzles me a lot. The RegEx is so wildely used,  but why it not be used in adobe analytics(the segment in reports&analytics).

    Chatted with product management on this one. It was actually attempted at one point to introduce this, however the performance of segmentation was brought to its knees. Ultimately it was not followed through to completion.

    It will eliminate implementation/classification need up to a certain extent. Eg. order less than 10 times in a quarter.

    You can use them now...in Google Analytics.

    While migrating from GA to Adobe Analytics, lack of regex support within AA was frustrating and disappointing. While there's a way to replicate the logic, missing regex is still a concern.
