Reference for terminology and navigation?

I'm new to Ad Hoc/Discover but somewhat familiar with Site Catalyst. The new UI and the terminology confuses me. (For example, what's the difference between segment, dimension, container and report?)

Is there an online reference, like a glossary or basic how-to-navigate this tool? What's the best way for a novice to learn how to use this?
