Is there a way to change the persistence of 'original referring domain' in SiteCatalyst? My understanding of this metric is that it persists forever (as long as the cookie remains active on the user-end). Is there a way to set the cookie to expire after a certain time threshold?

To my knowledge there is no way to change the expiration of the standard out of the box Adobe Analyics Original Referring Domain report since it is intrinsic to the variable. However you could allocate a custom conversion (eVar) variable and track to your desired expiration settings (Original Value + Custom Expire After Setting).
