New vs. Return visitors (getNewRepeat)

Hi,

We are using 'getNewRepeat' plugin to see data on visitors loyalty. Since I believe this is a page-load rule, we are seeing a lot of unspecified values for our variable configured. Does any body have an idea, why the unspecified values are being passed and how to rectify it?

Thanks in advance!

Dear Madhur,

If you use the Plugin getNewRepeat you should definitely get either New or Returning Visits in your line item.

If you see unspecified, there might be 2 cases:

1. Few of your pages didn't have the plugin or variable to capture the Dimension.

2. Or issue with the implementation.

Can you pass your public URL so that i can verify the implementation.

Thank You

Arun

@pratheeparunraj - I am facing the same issue. Can you please share some details on how to debug the problem?

What do you mean when you say 'few pages didn't have the plugin'? When I am checking in debugger for the pages I see in the reports with 'unspecified' New or Repeat values I do see values against eVar as either 'New' or 'Repeat'.
