Match a specific search term using a custom segment

Hi All,

I'm trying to search keywords in a freeform table and had a question for you all:  how do I get the custom segment I'm building to match exactly on a keyword I put in?  For example, I want to see any questions someone asked that have "how" in them, but when I apply it in a custom segment and tell it to look for matches that contain all of (or just contain) the word "how", I get other terms pulled in, like the name HOWard.  Tried to put it in quotation marks to tell it to look for an exact match but that didn't work.  I feel like equals would just look for inquiries that have only how in them, and wouldn't be what I'm going for here.  Anyone have any ideas?  Thanks!

Dear mcrimmin,

Seems like a more generic question rather than related to Adobe.

The answer is really tentative. Try for how & space ('how ') or download the list of 'how' excluding the Howard, However, etc, and build a segmentation (Using equals any of)  or upload through classification importer to exclude the rest.

I didn't see a direct answer for this.

It's a little generic, but specific to how to do it in Adobe. In Excel I know how to do exact match, just stumped on an easy way to do it in Adobe. I agree creating a custom segment would work but getting it right would be cumbersome with large search volumes.
