Manual Date Entry - Bring it into the 21st Century

Currently when you type in a date manually in the date range in shorthand, for example 8/22/13, the tool defaults to 8/22/1913 instead of 8/22/2013. I don't think the internet was around in the early 20th century let alone tracking of the content. Is it possible to allow for this type of dating to default to the 21st century and not the 20th. This is mainly an issue due to the fact that the end date clicking doesn't work all the time as seen in this post.

Yikes. Good catch, @tahoe. Would you submit this as a bug through ClientCare? Clearly it should be defaulting to 20xx.
