Lowercase values in processing rules (it is still not possible in 2024?)

Description - I found community threads from 10 years back(?!) where people asking about lowercasing prop/evar values in processing rules. Till date, this still does not seem to be possible, correct?

Why is this feature important to you - Why would I use processing rules if even this simple functionality does not exist?

How would you like the feature to work - have an option to lowercase as string value as one of the given dropdown items

Current Behaviour - still no can do in 2024

Wouldn't you be able to achieve that using regex?

Hi @joernfa

regex is more for testing for a concrete value but does not transform that value afaik

Cheers from Switzerland!

@bjoern__kothSorry, I realised only now, that you have requested this for processing rules, while I was thinking about classfication.

Having said that, it might be possible via classifcation - but only if you a have a limited set of values in the evar/prop. Agree that regex itself won't transform the value.
