Interpreting linear attribution

This is a question about how a linear attribution is counting. Linear Attribution gives equal credit to every touch point seen leading up to a conversion.

The following report shows a pages report with linear attribution (RB: Page Consumption 5). The metric RB: Page Consumption 5 is really page views with linear attribution applied with a visit scope.

The whole visit consisted of the following in this order:

  1. https://www.webmd.com?ecd=blakeley20230824
  2. https://www.webmd.com/mental-health/default.htm
  3. https://www.webmd.com/depression/default.htm
  4. https://www.webmd.com/add-adhd/default.htm
  5. subscription to addhd newsletter (custom link call)

I can't figure out how Adobe is coming up with those numbers for the linear attribution metric RB: Page Consumption 5. Can someone explain?

Honestly, I also can't figure it out either...  I've not used the attribution model in this way (pages to page views essentially), I've used it more with purchases to marketing channels....
