Adobe Analytics

I'm looking closely at our website traffic patterns and noticed something strange. Yesterday, June 14, 2022, I broke down Pageviews/Visits/Unique Visitors and Bounces by Hour of Day. At 3:00 AM there was a big spike in traffic. Broken down further by Browser, IP Address and Region, I found that the traffic spike was from a single Browser - Google Chrome 91.0, a single IP address (in screenshot below), and Region - Oregon. The Bounces coming from this device is extremely high,  bounce rate in the high 90s. I checked traffic for a different day I picked randomly - June 1, 2022. Once again there's a spike in traffic at 3 AM from the same Browser and IP Address. We aren't in retail and don't operate an online store. We operate in the Eastern Time Zone within regular business hours, 9 am - 5 pm. Hi there, How do you guys trace your customers' online behaviors? My company has tracked a WSC_ID in adobe when a user logged in on the site or made a purchase on the site.  However, if the user is just visiting the site and left we lost tracking of it. Do you or your company have a better practice here to capture as much as possible of a customer's online behaviors? One way I've thought about is using WSC_ID map with Visitor_id in adobe, so I can fill some of the gaps of guest visitors.Wondering if this is the best I can do? or any better solutions here?   Thanks!  

I have a calculated metric requirement, %locator rate = #locator/ total sessions. I created this as locator (event metric) / visits(metric). This is the output I get for Locator Rate which I'm unable to interpret, 

Hi Everyone, I was just wondering if there is any possibility within Adobe analytics segments section that we can give other team members permission for editing or modifying their shared segments. As in our current scenario, those who are at user level can only view, but not edit. The values are storing in eVar, we have to group / buckets the values. I think the best way is to do classification rule builder I would like to create buckets for the values like this:0 – 30003001 -50005001 -1000010001 – 3000030001 – 5000050001 – maxCan any one help me on this how to bucket / group the values in the regex or suggest me how to achieve above scenario.Thanks all@1905403

Hello there, Imagine I have created a calculated metric based on the visits for the form page completion (Created based on the complete journey of the form page).Also, I have created a fallout table in where I find the total journey visits at the end after the application success page.  But, my data of visits in fallout does not match with the calculated metrics data of visits. Why is that so?  

Is there a way to trend metrics of a filtered table in workspace to only show the filtered data in the trended table? I have a table of filtered product names and revenue. I'd like to trend the totals shown in this table. However, when I try to trend the totals shown for the filtered data, instead of plotting out the revenue shown for just the filtered products, the graph plots the revenue that would be shown if the table weren't filtered at all. Is there any way around this?

Hi there,How the hell can I download a full free form table to CSV? Not the displayed rows, but the whole table? And I don't want to expand each dimension one by one to show all rows cause I have many of them. None of the available options work. Hey all, i'm having this issue. We have a website that has a link that transfer over to our blog site (hosted under WP) and has cross domain. The first visit doesn't generate a page (s.t) call. When you refresh or go back, it fires those s.t calls afterwards but not the initial. Anyone ever experienced this? I am digging deeper into this trying to find out what's going on and thought I'd ask here in case. Thanks!

We have a main site xyz.com. We are going to add a page managed by a 3rd party in our subdirectory: xyz.com/abc. The third party will be using Telium for their TMS and send the data over to us into the report suit we provide.My question is: in order to keep the same ECID across the pages, do we need a new report suit or will the existing one suffice. The measurement for success are more or less the same accross the pages.   

Hi all, I created a scheduled export in the Datawarehouse using a segment as filter.It runs several time before I noticed an adjustment that has to be done in the segment I used to filter.To avoid to recreate my DWH export, I did the modification directly in the segment and keep running the same DWH export..My questions are:- will the segment updated be taken into account in the next runs of my export. I think so but you'll be great if you can confirm.- will it also be ok if I use the option Resend files for the previous runs in the DWH interface to send now the correct files from the pastor the file is just resend without any calculation update, or using the segment definition in scope at this period?I tried and the segment modification are not taken into account for files Resend. Maybe do I have to wait a specific time to synchronize segment update with the export?Thanks for your help Robin

Has anyone found why regularly scheduled projects suddenly aren't delivered? Here are a couple issues that have arisen: Issue 1: Daily Projects4 scheduled projects (PDF, CSVs for 2 different reports) have been sent consistently for the past 2.5 weeks without issue until this weekFailed to send 5/30/2022Sent 5/31/2022Failed to send 6/1/2022Adjusted the delivery time from 6:00 am EDT to be an hour later in case our 6 am EDT time was too close to any Adobe "off-hour" maintenance windows; Sent on 6/2/2022Use case 2: Monthly Projects - delivered on 1st day of monthSent without issue for the past 10 months without any issues6/1/2022: 4 rescheduled from the daily to 7:01 am EDT were sent. 7 scheduled for 7:01-7:05 failed to send. Others sent as expected, with no rhyme or reason to which sent and which didn't. Small # of query ones for 7:01 failed to send, while one with many a larger # of queries for 7:03 did send. Hi there,I have a question which has been quite confusing to me. When the number of visits is split up per Last Touch Channel and I count these individual numbers up they are higher than the total which is showed at the bottom of the table. This would imply that it's possible to have multiple Last Touch Channels per visit. Is there anyone who has seen this aswell and has an explanation for this?Thanks!Michael 

Hi community, I want to filter the Page URL because sometimes I got local developer URLs in reports. I created this processing rule in order to have a common value for all of them to filter it in Virtual Report Suites later. But the rule is not working. One option in here I think is because the value "C:/Users" will required an escaping of special character.If this is not the issue, what could be wrong on here?          Thank you!

Hi,   I have following few metrics that I need to create since Adobe Analytics don't have them, but I'm unsure about what would be the correct components to be used. Did some research but couldn't find much (Since these are metrics easily available on GA). Would need some guidance.   # New User: People who visit the website for the first time within a specific time frame # Active Users: Users who access the website at least once in the last 12 months # Low Users: Users who access the website 1-5 times in the last 12 months # Engaged Users:  Users who access the website only 6-10 times in the last 12 months # Advanced Users: Users who access the website more then 10 times a year in the last 12 months   Thanks!

Dear Community, We would like to use the API1.4 Data Insertion from a Visual Studio Code extension. Hi team, I have 2 Apps data flowing in one report suite. Have separate variable to segregate the 2 Apps dataRecently did cross app campaign activity traffic flowing from one app to another.Implemented banner clicks on source app through evar for e.g. evar x capturing banner name and applied visits as metric to know how much of my traffic clicked on source app and appended campaign query parameter on the same banner to provide me data around visits and conversions on destination.
