Why do you download Adobe Analytics data to csv and analyze? This was the top question I’ve received during a recently concluded Adobe Analytics Champions' Tips & Tricks Webinar. During my sharing on Cohort Analysis so you don’t let your digital marketing campaigns fall in the cracks, I showed examples of sharing your findings to the rest of your stakeholders for them to understand and take action based on those analytics insights. Indeed, there are multiple ways to visualise your data for the best storytelling to compel business decisions. This blog post was inspired by the following question:   Q: Is it on the product roadmap to update Table Builder to act more like Ad Hoc Analysis?  Where the breakdown items for Days can be expanded to more items?  For example, if I'm running a monthly analysis with daily breakdown, I'd want to see more than the first 5 days of the month.   So, this is a problem that I'm sure many (if not most) of us have faced. I'm looking to remove some of our inactive segments that were created for Adobe Target. The XT test using these segments are no longer running and we are trying to limit the number of published segments as much as possible. When I attempt to unpublish a segment, I receive the error message "One or more segments failed to unpublish because they are currently used in one or more Experience Cloud solutions. Please remove the dependency in your Experience Cloud solutions and try again." Do you know what in use refers to because again we are no longer using these segments in a test. Could in use also mean that these segments are being utilized within analysis workspace reports?

Can we automate pulling data from Adobe Analytics to Google Sheet for reporting purpose. Also is there any option on adobe analytics like we have on Google Adwords to use script to automate reporting?

How to find which adobe launch rule fires the specific event?   For example in this screenshot I can see scOpen fires but how to find which rule in adobe launch fires it. omnibug shows just the variables which gets fired.        

What is difference between conversion and analytics metrics What action was taken by your audience to indicate your goal has been reached?  how can I measure clicked on mbox ? meaning that what is mbox in that context ?I know that using analytics metrics will give me the ability  to choose a lot of metrics as a success metric how ever when I'm using some thing like  Page Views it doesn't increase in count even if unique visitors are increasedquote from the documentation : "page views : This metric counts all page view tracking calls (t()) in a report suite. For dimensions, it includes hits where a dimension item is defined or persisted. It does not include link tracking calls (tl()). Is there a way of controlling what time the data feed processes the daily file? i.e. defining the specific hour the process should start?

I wanted to conbine them, Is there a way to achieve this?If not, it's good to have secondary email id(personal email id) linked to your account, so that if you change the organization your rewards and achievements will be transferred to different email id. Any thoughts? My reward and achivements got missed at the time of organization change 😛Thanks!

We have a unique situation we've been noticing within our Adobe Analytics, we have last touch channels which when we pivot for eVars (which have been set to visit persistence) sometimes unrelated values will appear.   For example of the issue: When pivoting from our last_touch_channel for 'NATURAL SEARCH' we will see under the custom eVar (utm_campaign) the value of a [Display Campaign Name].    While in principle I understand why that is happening is due to the custom eVar (utm_campaign) being set to visit persistence.   In that example a user is probably is coming on our site initially through a 'DISPLAY' marketing channel and then leaving, then arriving again (within the same visit/timeframe) on our site through 'NATURAL SEARCH'. Due to 'NATURAL SEARCH' marketing channel set to 'override last touch' PLUS the nature of 'NATURAL SEARCH' not having it's own utm_campaign value, the previous eVar value for 'utm_campaign' is carried over from the initial 'DISPLAY' mark

Hi, I have existing digital data layer object which I am planning to map to XDM schema and then send it to edge and then to Adobe Analytics through Web SDK. Is there documentation or resource to map  existing  data layer to edge.

I hope you can help 🙂   In the Marketing Channel Processing Rules I use the following rule: If all of the following are true: evar123 starts with "sea_" Then do the following: Identify the channel as SEA Set the channel's value to evar123 (In my setting the marketing query parameter string is saved in evar123).   Let's say evar123 has a visitor expiry and first touch allocation.   Does this mean that the Marketing Channel AND Marketing Channel Detail dimensions take the expiry and allocation settings of evar123? Or do the Marketing Channel rules apply which are set to an expiry of 30 days (rolling) and last touch?

We're one SAAS provider, and we're considering to integrate Adobe Analytics to our SAAS product. However, after reading material re AA, I've some questions there.   Basically, AA provides one capability to allow customers to configure everything in its Experience Platform, then generate one JS lib, so that customers' application can embed such JS lib to perform collect data to send back to Adobe side. Seeming this is recommended approach. All stuffs controlled by customer.   However, our SAAS product is integrating Google Analytics, we just load one standard libs, then to use it to collect data inside our code, at this approach, everything is controlled by us, we declare customer account, event collecting, etc... So my question is, does AA also support such integration approach?   Thanks, Kent

Hi I am trying to create a report in builder and being a heavy user of analytics workspace keep getting frustrated as  it does not seem as intuitive. For instance  I want do is add a second date range so I can compare performance against last year but cant fathom out how to do it. Can anyone recommend any good resources or examples of use ,to learn how to use the tool.   Apologies if this obvious ..
