Adobe Analytics

Hi, Recently we are facing an issue regarding Ipad and Iphone hits. Previously it was captured under "Other" in device type and recently fix from adobe all the hits related to Ipad it is captuerd under "tablet" device type.Can someone let me know about this. Is this expected?If Yes, please share the document. Thanks.

I tried providing basic metrics like pageviews, visits, unique visitors and bounce rate for a particular page for one of my client, for which I created a segment with page name and dropped it into the freeform table.  The general format goes like this, the data shown must be only for the segmented page name. But I get data for other pages too (pages other than the segmented page) with values as 0 (zero) in all metric fields. Can anyone suggest a solution for it?

Hi All,I have created a segment with the following condition at the visit container levelPage doesn't equals Step1ANDPage equals Step5.Based on the above segment, the outcome which I expected is there should be no visits to either of the pages. Because there is no way to reach Step5 without visiting Step1 page.But still I am getting visits to Step5 page.Can someone explain the possible reason for this?

I have a scenario where we have products grouped together in a single product string. You can imagine a watch store where the watch body and the watch strap have their dedicated SKUs. In an ideal world, our engineers would've split the information in a format as such: product = watch accessory;SKUBAND;1;60,watch body;SKUBODY;1;400Unfortunately, what I have instead is something like this:product = watch;SKUBAND+SKUBODY;1;460I first considered building a .tab file to feed into the SAINT classification tool. I know this is a combinatorics exercise, where I can create a .tab file of all possible combinations.However, if SKU is the 'index'/'key' of the .tab file for classification, then I cannot map multiple keys to the same product name.For example, the following is not an acceptable data entry: +-----------------+-----------------+| Key | PRODUCT NAME |+-----------------+-----------------+| SKUBAND+SKUBODY | WATCH BODY NAME |+-----------------+---------------

Team, Anyone done 6Sense integration with Adobe Launch? We have followed whatever given by 6Sense but data is not flowing to the analytics.  1) Loading the 6Sense webtag JS in the custom code with Library Loaded (Top).2) Mapping the company related eVars in the adobe analytics extension custom code. Issue:- Data is not capturing under analytics.

I have two charts, and I want to make sure the scale is the same. How can i set the axis to ensure they are directly comparable? Say I want the scale to top out at 5,000, always.

Hi, i was wondering if anyone has ever used or heard of any online assessments that could be used as part of an interview process.  It would be to assess someone to be an implementation specialist. I have searched and its not something i have came across. i know i can write some questions and perhaps produce a scenario, but i wonder if anyone has ever used a company who can do this for you. Thanks in advance.

I have 20 independent freeform tables in my existing project. I want a global segment filter for all those 20 tables without applying it individually. Could someone recommend a solution?  

Since Mai 2023 a new value has appeared in our "Operating System Type" reports for desktop visits that outperforms the combined desktop visits from Windows and Apple (see screenshot). The OS type has the value of "Chrome OS", and a breakdown reveals it to be the version "Chrome OS 88.0.4324". Simultanously, the dimension "Mobile Device Type" reports an increase of "Other", meaning desktop devices.I guess there is a connection to the changes regarding client-hints and device look-up. We have activated "High entropy user-agent client hints" in the Analytics extension. Even if there were a Chrome OS for Desktops it could not possibly rise to the top as quickly as this. So thanks in advance for any insights by the community.

Hi, we are trying to build a freeform table showing tagged pages. By default, when we did the segment, it shows pages that don't have the tags. When we change the attribution model to “instance” and “non-repeating instance”, it removes pages that didn't match. However, now, we don't know which models to use. Indeed, they are giving us two different numbers. All we would like to know is which pages were tagged and how many visits those pages get. We have the feeling that we should use “instance”. Indeed, we suppose that the “non-repeating instance” is only counting a unique person visiting that particular page once but not counting any other pages that they visited. Indeed, if someone is visiting 2 pages that are tagged, we would like to see that. Thanks in advance!

When I enter a search term into the Workspace Project List, why do I suddenly lose the ability to sort the list? It's particularly frustrating that I can't seem to sort by "Last Modified". Is there a workaround for this? 

Hi,I'm implementing Adobe Anlytics for a mobile app. one of the requirement is to capture the time to completion of a form in the app.It appears it was possible to track timed actions in legacy mobile services SDK - https://github.com/Adobe-Marketing-Cloud/mobile-services/blob/master/docs/android/analytics-main/timed-actions.md But, I'm uable to find any documents on how to do it using the AEP SDK (mobile core). is it possible? any suggestions would be of great help. Thanks.

Hi All, I'm facing an issue in the prod RS when I try to use the classifications in the rule builder I get the below error in the screenshot, however, the conversion classification does appear in the report as dimensions, so it should mean they are available and should be working fine, the weird thing is that when I did the same in the dev RS everything was working fine in terms of using them in the rule builder, I logged out and in again but still I see the same error.Any thoughts or help here, please?

I am saving a unique identifier string in a dimension. The string is 64 characters long.I will be creating a Calculated Metric on this dimension to get the unique count on this dimension. I will be using this Calculated Metric on the Adobe Analysis Workspace. This dimension will have upto 350,000 unique values. I am concerned about the performance of Count function on this dimension, especially because of the long string size, and large number of unique values. Is there going to be any significant performance impact on the Analysis Dashboard, if this metric is added and used?

helloI am new to adobe analytics and I got stuck while trying to make new segments. there is an event page with a daily check-in for a limited date. if you visit the page and log in, you get a certain prize every five times. e.g. 5th, 10th, 15thI am trying to find out how often visitors participated in this event and how many people logged in 15th time. I tried to make segments withdimensions: logged in(prop), page name, URL, visit number, return frequencymetric: visitsI tried several versions but when I apply them and break them down, they don't seem rightthe top bucket is the visitor <identical part>logged in = logged inandpage name = orurl = and these parts are where I tried different approachesv1 and visit number = 5v2 then within 1day visits existsv3 hit bucket, then within 40 days visit number = 5 and return frequency = less than 1 day what am I missing? thanks in advance

Hi, I've looked into how a user can be tracked from a mobile app to web i.e through the use of geturlvariables But above solution only seems to work for the app to web transition and not vice versa.How do I ensure that my implementation also tracks a user coming from web to a mobile app and shows that as a single user journey in adobe analytics.I have implemented Web SDK alreadyThanks
