Inconsistent number alignment in Report Summary Panel across different systems

Hi all,

I have a summary panel in report consisting of 9 different summary number visualizations. Every card has its own description and numeric values. I have aligned all number values with consistent font sizes while designing the report. The alignment appears correct on my system after saving and downloading the report.

However, when the same report is downloaded and viewed on other systems, the number sizes appear different, causing misalignment in the summary panel. As a result, the report looks inconsistent for different users.

Could you please advise on why this happens and how can we ensure consistent number sizing and alignment across all systems?

Thanks in advance.

    Hi @ESS_DigitalWe,

I assume you mean that each user is downloading their own copy of the report?

From what I have seen, sizing is basically dependent on the relative width (based on % of the panel - i.e. you have re-set widths of 1/5, 2/3, 1/2, etc), and the height of the visualization… however, the width (being relative) changes based on the user’s screen size. So, for instance, you might have made the report on a large widescreen monitor, and it looks good there, but someone else may have opened it on their laptop’s smaller screen… causing those relative widths to be smaller and causing values to be squished. Even having the left rail open or closed can impact the display and width of the panel.

If you need the report to look the same, you might want to redesign the sizing to work with a scheduled PDF (or possibly scheduling it from your own display will work just fine without modification), and to distribute the same file to all the interested parties rather than having them pull their own….

Unfortunately, there is no sizing available aside from relative.
