How can I configure dimensions and metrics in bulk in a CJA Data View?

Question

I need to configure a large number of dimensions and metrics in a Customer Journey Analytics Data View, including settings such as persistence, attribution, include/exclude values, formatting, and other component configurations.

Is there a supported way to bulk edit or upload these configurations instead of updating each dimension and metric manually in the UI?

Hey,Is possible to do bulk edit in the UI if helps but can only be done with Metrics or Dimensions with sameSchema Data Type,ie, Boolean, Double, String, ieMulti-select by holding down CTRL or SHIFT keySelect themultiple Dimensions with ‘String’Schema Data type then adjustattribution, include/exclude values, formatting, etc for allDo same for ‘Boolean’ and other typesThe ‘No value options’ and ‘Persistence’ will allow bulk update across different Data Types as it is common across each.

To piggy back with ​@DanSmith‘s response, you can sort based on desired columns. For example, you can easily ‘lowercase’ all dimensions:Addthe lowercase column to the tableClickon the header to sort so all the ‘no’ lowercase values are on the topClick the top ‘no’, scroll to the last ‘no’, hold shift and click, so that all ‘no’s are selected.Now open Behavior in the right rail, check ‘lowercase’Once you save, all dimensions will be forced lowercase.Don’t lowercase currency code if you have it, as it must be capitalized for currency conversion to function.
