High % of baidu traffic being classified under other website

Is anyone else seeing a high % of traffic from baidu being classified under other website in the referrer type report? we are seeing nearly 80% of baidu traffic being classified under "other website". We reached out to client care - but they haven't been able to give a clear response as to why this is occurring. We drilled down to the referrer and we are seeing "pos.baidu.com". Does anyone know what this is?

Thanks

Also, have a look at this article which explains why some search engines could come into 'Other websites' category - https://marketing.adobe.com/resources/help/kb/en_US/analytics/kb/search-engines-in-other-websites.html

Hi,

"pos.baidu.com" does not seem to be the Baidu search engine to me, probably that is why it is not showing up as a search engine. Probably it is some other affiliate/redirect site which is not listed in the Adobe list of recognized search engines. I would still try to confirm it internally. Also, please share your ClientCare ticket number so I could look into it as well.

Thanks

TM
