Hello,

I’m having an issue with folders. Projects keep falling out of the folders. Is anyone else having this issue? Is this something that is being worked on?

Thank you

That is interesting… and knowing you are the only admin with Access makes it easier to rule out someone else making changes. This does sound like a bug… Please open a ticket with Client Care, and keep us up to date on the progress.

Hi, can you explain more what you mean by “falling out of the folders”?

Are you saying that you saved a report into a folder, and despite being in the “Projects and Folder View” the report is in the main Projects list? Or are you saying that you are flip flopping between the “Projects Only” and “Projects and Folders” Views?

I will admit, I don’t use Folders much, since they aren’t shareable, so I usually just use Tags to organize my reports. But I can take a look and try to replicate if I know more about the issue.

I do use folders a fair bit, but I'm not sure what you mean by 'falling out'. Can you explain a bit more?

@RhondaJo1 I think  this is Adobe Analysis workspace folders issue.

I don’t believe projects should randomly fall out of folders. Based on Adobe’s folder documentation, projects should stay in the selected folder unless they are moved, the folder is deleted, or an admin changes the Company folder structure. If this is happening without user action, it sounds like a bug or sync issue.

I would recommend opening an Adobe Support ticket with the project names, folder paths, timestamps, and screenshots, so Adobe can confirm whether this is a known issue or something being actively worked on.

This just happened to me this morning!
I have 10 or so reports that were saved in a sub folder within my Company Folder.  This morning when I logged in those reports are now in the main Projects location and not in the folder where they were originally saved.  They were there yesterday.  I am the only Admin that has access to move reports from one folder to another.

This is happening in Adobe CJA, not Adobe Analytics as suggested below.

My folder structure is this:

Projects → Company Folder → 10 Sub Folders (based on report topic) - the reports withing the subfolders are some how moved from the sub folder to the main Projects folder.

Why does this happen?

@RhondaJo1  - I am also facing this issue and seems like a bug, i have already raised a client care support ticket for the same. And they have acknowledge it and forwarded it to product team.

I’m having the same issue. Any ideas when it will be fixed?

Unfortunately, I don’t have access to Adobe’s ticketing system, and likely when the fix is released, it will be just listed in the Release Notes with a ticket number and no description…  If anyone who submitted a ticket was told the Jira number, if you share it, then people can watch for it in the release notes.

I received confirmation from Adobe Support that this issue was resolved on 29 July 2026. I've now moved all the dashboards back to their intended folders. I’ll monitor it for a while and see if the issue reoccurs or if the dashboards get moved back to the / path.
