Fire two different page tags on the same web page?

We are setting up a web page hosted at a vendor and would like to place one of our page tags on it.  It turns out that they use Adobe Analytics as well and have their own page tag.  We both want to track page flows in our own report suites.  It is a single page and even though the next click goes to our website, there is no click tracking needed.

Will they conflict if they both fire?  If so, what's the best way to ensure they both fire cleanly?  Extended time between firing?  Does the last one that fires get any potential click tracking?

Few options/cautions:

1. Place Two DTM script just on the page you want to track. Big NO NO ... see here why? 2 DTM containers

2. Use multi-report tagging. (Not sure if that works across the company) Multi-Suite Tagging

3. Use Data Source. How Data Sources Works 

4. Implementing Analytics using HTML image tags.

Example:

  1. <html>

  2. <head>

  3. </head>

  4. <body>

  5. Order Confirmation<br>

  6. Thanks for your order #0123456.

  7. <img src="https://102.112.207.net/b/ss/suite1,suite2/1/G.4--NS/123456?pageName=Order%20 Confirmation&events=purchase%2Cevent1&c1=Registered&purchaseID=0123456&products=Books%3BBook%20Name%3B1%3B19.95&state=CA&zip=90210&g=https%3A//www.somesite.com/cart/confirmation.asp" width="1" height="1" border="0" />
