Exclude dates from date range

It would be very helpful to be able to exclude certain time frames from a date range within Workspace.  An example would be a business that has an extreme seasonality affect in December when most other months of the year are steady where the fiscal calendar places December in the middle of the year.  The ability to create a date range such as a combined range of "7/1/2017 - 11/30/2017 & 1/1/2018 - 6/30/2018" would be very helpful.
