Excel Not Responding While Logging in Using Report Builder

Hi All,

 

May I know if there is any specific reason why Excel becomes unresponsive while logging in using Report Builder? It also takes more time than expected. Could anyone from the community provide suggestions on this?

Hey @AravindasamyR, I can think of two reasons, which are a large amount of Report Data or could also be due to the old Report Builder Add-In; please do check if you're on the latest (you can download the latest from Tools->Report Builder).

Hey @farazhusain The report only has six queries, and I have checked using the latest version of Report Builder, but I am still facing the 'not responding' issue. It takes more than 30 minutes to display the queries after clicking the 'Manage' tab. Additionally, if the queries are displayed, the login session has already expired.

@aravindasamyr are you using the new report builder or the old one?
