Encountering issues while creating XDM objects

I'm encountering an error: "Failed to load schema metadata. An unexpected server response was received" while creating an XDM object. Below is a screenshot of the error.

This issue arises only when selecting 'XDM Object' and 'Variable' from the 'Data Element Type' dropdown.

I have created XDM objects in this Tag property before, but I have been facing this issue for the last few days. Any guidance on how to resolve this would be greatly appreciated.

Can you check if there have been any changes in Permissions?

 

Do you have an XDM schema created in the same sandbox you are using for Tags? A schema created in the Sandbox should pull in when creating a data element.

I have already checked, and there are no changes in the permissions. Also, there are multiple XDM schemas created in the same sandbox, but since the UI is not loading correctly, I’m unable to select any of them while creating data element.

One reason could be an outdate version AEP Web SDK extension. If you see an option to upgrade, can you try upgrading the same?
