Displaying multiple breakdowns for a dimension value

Question

I'm looking to streamline a Workspace report to show multiple breakdowns for a single dimension.

Specifically, I have eVars for all the usual utm_ variables (source, medium, campaign, content, term)

Given a single Page, I can do a breakdown for any one of them at a time.

Ideally I'd like to show them all at once, and independently of each other (not a breakdown of a breakdown)

For instance:

PAGE URL.htm

utm_source
- source1 100 occurrences
- source2 50 occurrences

utm_medium
- medium1 70 occurrences
- medium2 30 occurrences

and so on. Is this possible?

I know I can do this with multiple panels, but I'd like to have everything in one panel and not need to change the page in every panel to update the report.

Unfortunately, this particular display isn't possible in Adobe Analytics Workspaces... You can only have a single breakdown at each level.

You will either have to do a breakdown of a breakdown... or create some sort of concatenation of all your UTMs into a single string.

Yes, I know that concatenation isn't exactly what you are looking for, but it is really the only way to see all the data without multiple levels of breakdowns...

The only other option would be to use Excel Report Builder... I think you would have to make multiple requests (easiest to isolate each into its own tab URL > Source, URL > Medium, etc)

Then use Excel functionality to consolidate the data into the display of your choice by matching the URL values across all your raw data tabs....
