Hi,

 

Does anyone have clarifying info on the ingestion limit entitlement for CJA packages? Does ingestion include events that were added then deleted in both CJA Connections, but also in AEP data lake (e.g. file reinstatements)? I understand that the rolling window only affects usage, not actual ingestion. What else does ingestion include?

    In CJA, ingestion refers to all data brought into your connections from AEP or other sources, regardless of whether it’s later deleted or replaced. Deleted batches are removed from reporting, but the initial ingestion still counts toward your entitlement.

    The rolling window only impacts data availability for reporting, not the ingestion count itself. Ingestion includes all events successfully processed into CJA, whether they’re from live streaming, backfill, or reinstated files.

    If you’re tracking usage closely, it’s worth monitoring both ingestion volume and active data in your Admin Console to avoid overages.
