Create 'Referrer' Property to collect referrers from external domains

Hi ,

 

As of right now, the Referrer is default value by Adobe. Inside this Dimension internal URLs are included and seems to persist as an eVar.

For analysis the External Referrer is necessary to be a prop to be able to give an Entry External Referrer possible.

Due to This, we need a new Prop "External Referrer" , which collects the referrer on Hit and exclude internal URLs to make an Extern Referrer Possible.

 

Any suggestions really helpful. Thanks in Advance.

if you have set up the Internal URL Filters on your report suite, to "yourdomain.com", your own domain should not be listed as referrer.

if you have set up the Internal URL Filters on your report suite, to "yourdomain.com", your own domain should not be listed as referrer.

    100% agree here... Referrers is only supposed to be for external referring domains... but it has to be configured correctly to do it's job.
