Classification Rule Builder pagename URL change to pageName standard

Hi,

Is possible change pageName on Classification Rule Builder ?

On select report suites and variables, on  "page" only appear"set classification Page Type and Category, not pagename.

Sorry I asked in another post, but it does not work well the forum, not loading fine the post.

Attach problem.

    Hi Ivan,

    You can change those Page Names before they appear in your Pages Report with the help of Processing Rules (see screenshot). You can find the Processing Rules tool here: Admin > Report Suites > Edit Settings > General > Processing Rules.

    You need to do a small exam to use it: https://helpx.adobe.com/analytics/kb/processing-rules-authorization.html

    I've used it a lot to clean up page names

    Hi Ivan,

    Classifications allow you to 'classify' values that you have captured in your reports and generate more meaningful or detailed reports on those values.

    For example Pages report being classified as Page Type and Category to get more details on the Pages Report (as in your example)

    However, Classification, or otherwise, you cannot change the value itself in the reports. If you would like to change the pagename, I would recommend creating another classification report and descriptively naming it and then setting the pagenames as required in there.

      Hi Hyder, thanks you very much!!

      The problem is that in the report of pages for example appers:

       

      Few pages the url does not change ( eg homepage , contact, terms and conditions ... ) and I think I can change this in ADMIN / PAGE NAMES.

      But the problem is with other the URL, is dynamic and changes, for example LIST o DETAIL.

      We inform the parameter pageName by Adobe (with Tealium tag manager) to get implementation time with the name of tagging.

      Ivan, I would rather not recommend using Name Pages. It is a legacy tool with limitations.

      Suggest you to go for Classification importer if you have such page URLs with no definite pattern. 

      As for the the statement highlighted. I was pointing out that you cannot change what value has been captured through the code. You can only add classifications values to it.
