Classification data from AEP to Adobe analytics

Question

Hello folks,
I have a usecase where eventually if a client decides to move away from AA and only use CJA.
For the time being how do we send classification data into both AA and CJA?

CJA is straight forward. We create dataset in AEP and create the connections in CJA.
What about AA?
How do I send classifications data into AA from AEP with the same above dataset created. ?

Has any one done this before or could let me know some hacks ?

what kind of data do you want to classify in AA?

I am not aware of any way to get classifcation data out of AEP into AA, maybe the classic Data Sources approach through the API would be the way to go.

Curious to hear if anyone else has a solution to this.

Initially, I thought this documentation would be helpful, but it is about getting classification data into the platform instead.
