CJA Sandbox Capabilities - Connection & Data View Rights Issue

Hi everyone,

 

I'm currently facing an issue in the CJA Sandbox environment where I'm unable to create, update, or remove connections and data views without involving the Adobe support team.

 

I wanted to check with the community:

1) Is this limitation something everyone is experiencing in the Sandbox?

2) Or is there a way to configure user-level rights in the Sandbox that allows for self-service on these tasks?

 

If anyone has figured out a workaround or knows if there are specific permissions that can be granted within the Sandbox environment to avoid relying on support, I'd really appreciate your insights.

Hi @ankitjasani29 ,The CJA Sandbox accounts are normally shared among multiple users/partners and access to CJA Data Views and Connections requires CJA product admin access where the admin access cannot be granted to users/partners within a shared AEP sandbox, as that would allow you to see the Views/Connections of other users/partners. The way CJA admin permissions work, if you can see one Data View/Connection, you can see them all. As such, in order to protect user/partner data privacy, no users/partners have the ability to view or edit/create Data Views or Connections.

The only way to create/modify connections and data views in such accounts is through Adobe Support.

Hi @ankitjasani29

I encountered a similar issue while setting up the configuration using Sandbox access and was unable to create the connection. You’ll need to ask to the support team to create a connection between the dataset names and Person IDs. They will create the data view and setting up the connection for you.

Hi @kumarrishii ,

They did already but for any changes I need to inform them again.

I can't modify data view as well without taking help from support over the email.
