CJA Alert Builder Multiple Days of Week Question

Hi CJA Experience League🖐. Having looked through related topics, I don’t think this question has been asked before. I’m new to CJA so any recommendations or solutions would be greatly appreciated.

In AJO (don’t worry this will be a CJA q eventually!) I have a journey which splits profiles using a DOW condition.

If DOW = Friday send profiles abandon browse email 1 template including SEED addresses,
if any other DOW send template excluding SEED addresses.

(long story short this is so we don’t eat up all our seed allowance a month)

I want to be alerted when these email templates stop working (they typically send 1.5K per day, so fewer than 50 emails delivered a day would be an issue), and I have tried to use CJA alerts for this solution.

I built the below alert, which looks at the Abandon Browse email 1 exc seeds template (again this sends every day other than Fri), and checks if it’s delivering <= 50 each of those days.

However as you can see below (arrow), the alert does not seem to like multiple DOW builds:

Is there another way to build this report that might work?

Hi Will,In this case, the issue seems to be related to the alert’s expected behavior, which is set to “with all of these filters.” In this scenario, the condition will never be met because the criteria include multiple days of the week, while each event occurs on only one specific day.My suggestion would be to create multiple rules and apply an OR logic instead. You can do this by clicking on the top gear icon and selecting “Add rule.”I’ll attach a screenshot so you can better visualize it.I hope this helps.All the best.Filipe Freitas
