Data Warehouse and Analysis Workspace generally use the same processed Adobe Analytics data, but differences can appear depending on how the report is configured.
The most common causes are:
- Different report suites or use of a Virtual Report Suite in Workspace
- Different date ranges, time zones, or inclusion of recent/current-day data
- Workspace panel, table, or drop-down filters that are not applied in Data Warehouse
- Segment logic that behaves differently or is not replicated exactly
- Use of calculated metrics or attribution settings in Workspace
- Differences when comparing broken-down rows versus overall totals
To troubleshoot, we recommend first comparing the same purchase metric in both tools using the same base report suite, a completed historical date range, no segments, and no breakdowns. If the totals match, then add segments, filters, and dimensions one at a time to identify where the difference is introduced.
