Can you rename / edit the name of tags?
I need to rename a bunch of tags but not sure how i can bulk rename, if i can rename at all?

no, you can't rename the tags directly. but you can select all "wrong items", add the new tag, remove the old one. I believe that unused tags disappear, worth a try...
