Bot Rule doesn't apply

When looking at a user agent report, I noticed some bots crawling on our site which are from a CRM tool our marketing uses. These bots weren't blocked via the usual bot filter, thus I created a bot rule that should recognize them via the user agent's parameters. Unfortunately this didn't change much, the bot still appears in the user agent report and inflated our figures. Any ideas what I'm doing wrong?

Bot rules are active in a go forward reporting fashion and you can for sure combine the automated bot rules check box with manual set additions. If you aren't seeing the noted user agent filtered out you likely will need to adjust your bot rule logic further to block.

If you have verified the bot rule matches the user agent to the best of your knowledge and you still don't see the traffic filtered out then I would reach out to Adobe Customer Care to review.

Best,

Brian
