Description - Audit the usage of evars/props and events

Why is this feature important to you - As an admin of adobe analytics I have reached capacity for evars/props and not quite yet events. I will need to repurpose some evars and prop to accommodate new business requirements. Without reaching out to our whole user base and relying on their feedback I would like to see the usage of these so I can determine if its still in use at all.

Additionally when upgrading plugins and the values are different enough, I need to know how many of our users are impacted by such changes.

How would you like the feature to work - A feature similar to checking user access logs could be created for custom dimensions and events

Current Behaviour - this information cannot be currently attained.

    I think this is a great idea because it could also help identify areas where adoption is slow and additional training may be needed.

     

    I would add that it might also help to know who the users accessing those evars/props and events are. For our own implementation, there are specific items that primarily benefit developers, but that user segment is not as large as the analyst pool. This might also help to know if specific stakeholders lean on certain dimensions and metrics.
