Are the values of eVar unified as one value without classifying capital and small letter?

In our system, we are tracking search terms with eVar variable and prop variable.

I expect they have same values, but it seems not.

When I brake down eVar with prop,

-------------------------------------

eVar                       prop

aBcd                      Abcd

                              ABcd

                              aBcd

                               .....

like above.

Why does this happen?

Pleeeeease help me.

Thank you in advance.

eVars are never case sensitive. Props are only case sensitive for really old report suites. Props can have this setting enabled or disabled.

More info on how props/eVars interact with case sensitivity can be found here: Variable case sensitivity
