Hi,

With alot of users in Analytics, the structure and also findability of existing reports becomes difficult.

As an administrator, I would like to be able to create area or topic folders, and default users to save their reports in the their area’s folders.

Applicable to AA and CJA

I believe you can create folders inside the “Company” folder, but that isn’t ideal, as you man not want ALL the reports to be available to the entire company. Even if they are bundled under specific sub-folders.

For now, I don’t really use the folders, I continue to use Tags. There are available to everyone, and this also allows me to “cross-categorize” reports…

I still upvoted, because without this functionality, folders aren’t terribly useful to me…  so I absolutely agree this should be added.

I like that idea, but I also have hundreds of users, and thousands of reports.

I feel like many solutions are based on a small number of actual application users.

But Tags are available for everyone to use. Teams can manage their own reports by tagging their own reports, and if you have documentation for naming conventions (yes you will still have to do data governance on the tags), most of that can be managed per team.

I also have hundreds of users, we don’t have thousands of reports because we have been cleaning up old and obsolete reports, I don’t see this as any harder to manage than folders…
