Advertising Analytics: Ad Display URL

We finally managed to integrate our Adwords accounts into Adobe Analytics. Although not all variables are populated. I wonder how to import them?

For example "Ad Display URL": Do I need to configure something in Adwords or in Adobe?

I only used the string as indicated in the documentation for linking:

s_kwcid=AL!!3!{creative}!{matchtype}!{placement}!{network}!{product_partition_id}!{keyword}

hi alv123456

We just setup google adwords as well, have the same  empty parameters. according to our advertising agency all data needed from AMO is available. therefore we are really happy with the current setup.

do you still have any issues where you need help?

let me know ...

"ad display url" is "The Ad Display URL object used in your Ad." according to the help site Advertising Analytics Overview

that means, it is looking for a URL within your ad. did you check if you have configured a display url in adwords? i don't know if this even exists since the url is always the search engine ...

Yes, the Ad Display path is configured in Adwords. It is the URL as displayed to the user in Google and differs from the final destination URL.

just saw that your s_kwcid is wrong! the AMO Account ID is missing! please check the parameter carefully!

do you already get data from your adwords campaigns? basically, to get the data you just need to setup

1) the backend connection in advertising analytics

2) add the s_kwcid parameter as generic url parameter (settings mostly done at account level, but you could even add it at a lower level (eg. campaign)

theres nothing more you need to do.

just a hint: I added a processing rule to write the s_kwcid parameter in a prop. this is solely for testing if everything works fine....

Sorrry, this was from copy&pasting, actually it is from the documentation:

s_kwcid=AL!<Advertising Analytics ID>!3!{creative}!{matchtype}!{placement}!{network}!{product_partition_id}!{keyword}

Yes, we already get all the data and even the AMO instances. So everything is fine. I'm just interested in why this particular variable is not populated.

I think it should be on the {placement} within the s_kwcid. do you see any url or number (id) in that place?

No {placement} and {product_partition_id} are empty

that means you won't see this data in adobe analytics. might be that google doesn't support this parameter any more ...

I think there is no "Ad display URL" provided by Google for Adwords. for Google Ads the parameter is working and I can see the apps and pages ...
