Adobe Report Builder dependent data block

Question

Hello AA / ARB Community - are Dependent Data Blocks not a thing in the new Adobe Report Builder? I can only find very brief info about dependent data blocks for Legacy Report Builder. Is there a new way to do this, or some new vocabulary around it?

Hmm that’s a good question ​@MitchellTe1I had never used Dependent Data Blocks in the Legacy Report (I didn’t even know they were a thing until today….).I haven’t seen anything like that…but the new Report Builder has a lot more controls, and a lot better way to pull multiple dimensions (and filter at different levels - the entire request, at the dimension level, and even at each individual metric level), so depending on what you are trying to do, it might be possible to do a different way that doesn’t require creating a dependency??Maybe if you can explain what you are trying to do, we can figure out a solution together?
