Adobe Analytics New 'Generate Slides' Feature: A Sneak Peek at the Latest Hidden Gem

Adobe Analytics seems to be quietly testing a new ‘Generate Slides’ feature, available to a select group of users. This feature allows users to convert Analysis Workspace templates directly into PowerPoint slides, making it easier to share insights and reports with stakeholders.

Instead of manually creating presentations, users can now generate slides that include charts and metrics from their workspace templates—saving time and ensuring consistent formatting. While it’s still in limited testing, this feature shows promise for improving workflow efficiency and simplifying the reporting process.

I am not sure if this is being rolled out to a select few, or more like it was rolled out to everyone and was the cause of all the issues that were reported yesterday.

It seems like Adobe has rolled it back for now in the wake of the problems.

I tested it yesterday when I still had it... I was less than impressed...  like most AI, it didn't really understand the data it was looking at, and it wrote some completely incorrect summaries; made visuals/data that didn't fit on the slide, and most random of all, couldn't distinguish breakdowns in a table, so it compared the "rolled up" row to the sub-rows o_0  (in no world is that a valid comparison).

While a nice thought, I don't see myself using this feature much, though I will be trying to monitor it for improvements.

Certainly, need more time to examine the feature for the use cases.
