Adding Dimensions To Report

Hi!

I need to create a report that has multiple dimensions. In the Report section, I only see an area to add metrics but not add an additional dimension. I would like to see pageviews by person and publish dates (ideally, aggregated in two weeks). Where can I access dimensions? Do these have to be built as segments?
