Using Puzzle Games Like Letter Boxed for Creative Thinking & Workflow Optimization
Hello everyone,
I wanted to start a small discussion about something slightly different but surprisingly useful for creative professionals and project teams.
Recently, I’ve been playing the Letter Boxed word puzzle game in my free time, and I noticed it actually improves skills that are very relevant to digital workflows — especially problem-solving, pattern recognition, and structured thinking.
In Letter Boxed, you have limited letters and must connect them strategically to complete the puzzle efficiently. It reminded me a lot of how we work with Adobe tools and digital experience projects:
- organizing assets with constraints
- finding creative solutions using limited resources
- optimizing workflows step-by-step
- improving cognitive flexibility during creative tasks
As someone working around digital projects and online content, I’ve found that short puzzle sessions help reset my thinking before returning to complex tasks like campaign setup, UX structuring, or content planning.
I even wrote about how puzzle-based thinking can support productivity and creativity here:

I’m curious:
- Do you use games or mental exercises to boost creativity or focus?
- Have you noticed any impact of puzzles or brain games on project execution or ideation?
Would love to hear how others maintain creative momentum during demanding workflows.
Thanks!
