We use the SiteCatalyst video reporting system to track video playback across our network of sites, but it doesn't record everything we want about video. We also record some performance metrics like buffering time and buffer underruns, so we have to record the video identifier as a prop and eVar. To get the unique video identifier classified, this means we have to upload the same update files three times to get the video classifications, prop and eVar all classified. The processing at the Omniture end is done three times too. What I'd like is to be able to link a single classification source to multiple variables, across multiple report suites. The multiple report suites part is already there, but not the multiple variables.
Hi, I am try to debug Marketing Channels processing rules logic that are based on Tracking codes (or campaign variable) and normally i would breakdown Marketing Channels with the Tracking code dimension using Tracking code Instances as metric to understand if when a specific tracking code value is passed, is assign the correct channel. However i can't seem to find Tracking Code or Campaign instances as a metric...i have it for all active eVars but not for tracking code.I haven't used Adobe Analytics in a few years, have this metric being renamed or not available in workspace anymore? When do we use Self service type(v70) and Self Service Detail(v71) and what is the definition of these dimension? Any documentation available?
I am looking to validate Adobe clickstream data in our company's data warehouse. I am looking to match the number of visits with a "Cart Add" event between the offline data and the report suite. After reviewing the documentation, I realized that I needed to set-up the query to parse out the different events and look for visits with "12". However, the number of visits I am seeing in the clickstream data relative to the report is very different (40%). All other queries and metrics I have run are matching correctly. Does anyone know why there would be a discrepancy?
Hello, up until 2 weeks ago my google dynamic search ad data (spend, impressions, clicks) were pulling in just fine into Adobe Analytics. They haven't been for the last 2 weeks. Those ad groups are still getting conversion data, just missing the front end data. Can you help me with this?

Hi everyone! I would like to create a calculated metrics that returns row count of pages that account for x% of total visits. It seems the only way to get something working is through percentile which doesn't always return the exact percentage I want to have. Anyone been through the same or has a way to work it out? Hi,I was trying to match some events for clicks at a hit level for Cart Adds, and was unsure of why the numbers differed between the Ad-Hoc Tool and my aggregations.I'm trying to understand the structure of that column a little bit better and was wondering if an event could be listed more than once per row?I.e. (2,12,14,12) is listed out, so I would know that cart adds occured twice?or is it structured as (2,12=2,14) which would be a different method of lookup? Thanks,Victor

Description - It's currently difficult to know in which area of a panel in Workspace to right-click for actionsWhy is this feature important to you - I use the feature often and find it difficult to know where to click.How would you like the feature to work - Make it visible somehow, upon hovering over with the mouse, than a right-click action can be taken within that area.Current Behaviour - it's quite difficult to know where to click. Try downloading the csv of a flow report by means of right clicking on the panel. It's hard to know where to click!
Hi Team, we are using adobe to analyze KPI's & customer behavior apart from that our DT team fulling major KPIS which available in there Database like(orde id' , number orders, Order$..)etc. the problem here is as two reports available people started comparing Order$ & Order# with adobe report and dt team's report. there is difference between those reports like Dt team report showing 150 orders in the Q1-2022 but adobe showing 130 orders. there is 20 orders difference people started questing.while go through i found those customers actually came to site, some did cart additions & some exited website as per adobe. but dt team report it's showing those are placed orders.then why adobe is missing those orders , what will suitable reasons in this case.any suggestions will be great help
I want to create projects in workspace for each partners. Nearly 150. But that workspace is not accessible by them for some security reasons. So tell me, how to share those data for respective partners. I know we can download pdf and share. But is there any additional way to share with them like where they can view this workspace without login.
Looks like we are running into a snag with using AEP Assurance (Project Griffon). We are all set for Android but can’t seem to find any instructions for iOS implementation of the base URL. Is there no support for iOS or can you find instructions for the iOS implementation? Description - Today, we can utilize the Histogram Visualization in Workspace with any event. Under the hood it creates a lot of Segments, which is also super helpful when we need those Segments for other use cases. However, a lot of engagement use cases would largely benefit from using the Count Distinct function in Segments. Some simple example could be:How many different pages do users view in a Visit?How many Marketing Channels do Visitors use in a month?(for CJA) How many different devices do people use?Functionally, we could just add dimensions as another option for the selector dropdown, which would internally build the Segments based on the Count Distinct function instead of the normal Segment definition.Why is this feature important to you - To better understand user or session engagement.How would you like the feature to work - Allow dimensions to be dropped or selected in the selector: Current Behaviour - Only events are supported and building engagement Segments takes a
Description - Saw a Summit session about tracking progress to goal using cumulative functions (which I'd never used before honestly). While doing it I realized Adobe, for all it's functions, does not have date calculation functions. So you could do, say a calculate of the different between today and Jan 1 and then be able to display how many days in the year have elapsed or calculate the % of year elapsed. I've see some of this done using the rowcount function but then you need to have all your table rows displayed all the time, which is a pain.Why is this feature important to you - I'd like to really leverage goal progress more in dashboards and this would really help show where we are today vs where we should be. Hi,I am trying to understand how marketing channels and attribution work in Adobe Analytics. I have attached an example screenshot below. What I am trying to understand is:1. Why does SEO has 14 form completions (30 day attribution window) with 15 visits?2. The first tracking code has 299 visits but 0 lead participation. There should be at least one participant because this campaign was targeting our existing clients and their lookalike audiences.
I am not able to find adobe analytics documentation for Datatypes. I am specifically looking for adobe analytics data type ranges. We are using adobe analytics 2.0 apis and while fetching the metrics api, type of the data is integer however when we use report api, we are getting exponential length data in response for integer type metrics and it cause an issue while parsing the response.
Looking to get guidance and best practice for setting a calculated metric to track page engagement rate.We have a custom eVar that is collecting total click volume, while utilizing the Page dimension to segment as necessary. These two elements of clicks to page is the basic set up of the formula. Where we are getting caught in indecision is, what is the best metric to use in the formula to see this % The 4 calculated proposals we came to are:Click Instances/Page VisitsClick Visits/Page VisitsUnique Clicks/Unique Page VisitsClick Instances/Page Views We don't think any of the above formulas are necessarily wrong, but we are looking for advice on the best method to use.Hopefully the above intention is clear.
Hi all, a complete noob here in Analytics. I was playing around with Flow to see where customers come from into a page of my company's site when I saw "Entries" and "Exits". What does Entries mean? I assume Exits mean the amount of people leaving my page, but what about Entries and the percentage amount shown mean?
Hello !I want to compare my KPI's YoY based on the date selected in the workspace.Example: The date in the workspace is selected as 1st march 2022- 31st march 2022 then the comparison date should be 1st march 2021 -31st march 2021. Now, in the same report I change the date range to 1st feb 2022-31st march 2022 then the comparison date should change to 1st feb 2021-31st march 2021.@pratheeparunraj Let me know if this is possible.Thanks
Hello, I have an sProp that captures the entry url when someone visits the site. The url shows that the campaign code string is correctly preceded by the "?cid=" parameter. However when I break the Entry URL prop down with the Tracking code dimension, I get "Unspecified". Is this normal? What could be causing this? I would greatly appreciate some help. Thanks
