Our drop is very consistent across all dimensions and was from 2 a.m. to
2 p.m.Typically Google Analytics visits runs 2% to 3% higher and
yesterday was 9% higher. The G.A. visit trend is within our normal
variance whereas Adobe visit trend deviated from the typical trend.
Today is trending normal again and back to the typical variance we
expected between G.A. and Adobe.Adobe Client care did not give us an
answer. Want to know if any other Adobe client saw the same problem
We often find with new tracking releases previous tracking
implementation can break. I use calendar events to mark the occassion
but don't always need it on every report. Example, we implemented some
custom ad tracking and it dropped most of our custom events by 8% (but
not all of our events). In turn, it dropped many of our calculated
metrics and custom segments. I used calendar events to mark the period
but I don't want this on all the reports, I only want to show the
calendar event on reports...
Apply calculated metric formula in the total row. Added pv/v to key
metric report and it was totaled in the total row. Need to update the
total row so the formula runs everywhere. Or better yet - add PV/V as a
standard metric to SiteCatalyst as you have for Discover!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We have a very large amount of MSN bot traffic in our data - an MSN bot
that executes java script. We had the same problem with Google preview
bot last Nov. Omniture needs to prevent bots that execute java script
from getting in our data and more importantly we are PAYING for the
server calls. How about refund???????? (lol)
Agreed! Tablets need to be separated out from Mobile. Revenue is very
different from mobile and desktop. We have segments to separate out ipad
but with the latest surge in Kindle and other tablet players, Omniture
needs to create a "Tablet" section in the report menu!
Add categorization to the keywords report. We get millions of keywords
every day - this report is virtually usless. Creating segments on the
keywords report always crashes my discover. I have to use comScore to
analyze keyword trends because they allow you to bucket keywords.
"Visits referred by MSN" & "Visits referred by Microsoft Bing" need to
be combined and updated. Microsoft Bing = bing.com not live.com and
update MSN to capture bing not msn. Especially with SiteCat 15, most
SiteCat users won't understand these segments
